Convert Discover Bank Statement to Excel
Most people converting Discover statements are working with the credit card: a transactions section listing trans date, post date, merchant, and amount, with payments and credits shown separately and cashback tracked in its own summary. The converter extracts the dated transaction lines into a chronological table, putting purchases in the Debit column and payments/credits in the Credit column so card activity drops straight into expense workpapers.
Discover Bank (checking/savings) statements convert too, with running-balance verification where printed. Download either from the Discover website or app under Statements & Documents — card statements are available for several years. Everything is parsed locally; a card statement full of merchant names never touches a server.

Discover statement FAQ
How do I download my Discover statement PDF?
Log in at discover.com, go to Statements & Documents (card) or the account’s Documents section (bank), choose the period, and download. The app offers the same under Account documents.
How are Discover cashback rewards handled?
Cashback redeemed as a statement credit appears as a dated credit line and converts into the Credit column. Reward balance summaries are not transactions and are skipped automatically.
Discover card statements show two dates per transaction — which one is used?
The leading date on each line (transaction date) anchors the row; the description retains the rest of the line. If your workflow keys on post dates, they remain visible in the Description text.
